Muscular Dystrophy Association Boulder

Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder was honored to donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association last Saturday at the University of Colorado game.

"The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. We do so by funding worldwide research; by providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide; and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement. It’s special work powered by special people who give generously."

Here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder, we consider it a privilege to be in the position to give to these great organizations like the MDA.

Toyota's 100 Cars for Good: There With Care

Larry H Miller Boulder Toyota cares about the families that are going through difficult medical situations. That is why we are proud to work with There With Care to help these families out in any capacity we can.

100 Cars for Good

Having a passion for helping our community, we were honored last Fall to be part of Toyota 100 Cars for Good as voters did their own good deed by voting for their favorite organizations and causes.

"Each day during 50 days, online voters chose two out of five nonprofit organizations to take home a new set of wheels. At the end of the day, the two organizations with the most votes took home a brand-new Toyota."

You can imagine how excited we were to find out There With Care was one of the chosen organizations. They were to receive a Toyota Highlander.

There With Care

"There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of thoughtful and fundamental services to children and families during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.

Baby Jack Care Mobile

As we presented the vehicle, the Toyota Highlander, to the organization this week, we were touched by the new name given to the Highlander. In memory of a very special child, There With Care's new Toyota Highlander will be called the "Baby Jack Care Mobile".

In addition to delivering groceries and providing rides to and from hospital treatments, the Baby Jack Care Mobile will help volunteers deliver diapers, car seats and baby items for families who have an infant in the Neo-Natal ICU.  It's a meaningful way to honor Jack's beautiful young life, while being there for other families in crisis.

We want to share more photos from this great ceremony this week. Please visit our Facebook page to see more and be sure to follow There With Care as well to be part of this great organization.

The Autism Society of Boulder County

ASBC Recipient of Generous Donation from Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder

We were honored to take part in giving to the Autism Society of Boulder County this Fall. We believe in giving back to our community and ASBC is a worthy organization.

"The Autism Society of Boulder County would like to acknowledge, with gratitude beyond words, the generous donation of $13,000 that we received last month from Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder. This gift felt like Christmas-come-early.

Manager Steve Doersam approached members of ASBC with an initial contribution of $8,000; we were astounded. We were even more astonished to receive an additional $5,000 in corporate matching funds from Toyota.

These funds are being earmarked for some of ASBC's many programs and services, including education grants and recreational grants for kids, teens and young adults who have autism.

ASBC is grateful to Steve and the rest of the team at Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder for recognizing the needs of the local autism community and for supporting ASBC in its mission to aid this community. Mil gracias!"
