Muscular Dystrophy Association Boulder

Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder was honored to donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Association last Saturday at the University of Colorado game.

"The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. We do so by funding worldwide research; by providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide; and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement. It’s special work powered by special people who give generously."

Here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder, we consider it a privilege to be in the position to give to these great organizations like the MDA.

Toyota Tires

Whether you are on the rugged road with a Tundra or riding smooth with the Camry, here at Larry H Miller Toyota Boulder, we know regular maintenance on your vehicle is important.

When it comes to taking care of your vehicle, having a solid set of tires on your Toyota is a priority. With the demands our Toyota's see on our roads, it is important to check your tires to make sure they are ready to go for the change in weather.

That is where we come in. "Toyota performs extensive evaluations to determine which tires are best suited for each vehicle. Whether your car requires Michelin, Goodyear, Dunlop, Bridgestone or another tire brand, you can trust that the Toyota Tire Center includes the approved, recommended brands to deliver the best driving experience."

"The Toyota Tire Center provides tire options in all approved sizes to meet most customers' brand
preferences.

Competitively priced tires are selected to provide an exceptional driving experience with characteristics including superior handling for wet or dry traction, stability, tread life, acoustics, comfort and rolling resistance, which impacts fuel economy. These considerations, as well as load and speed ratings, determine which brands and tire types are approved for use on your vehicle."

5 Tips to Prepare Your Vehicle for Summer

Summer is getting started and that means warmer weather is on it’s way. It also means your vehicle needs to change over to the warmer temperatures as well. Larry H Miller Toyota Boulder wants to ensure you are ready to ride, whether you stay on the roads or go off road. We have listed some basic tips to help you maintain your vehicle and be ready for the heat:

• Fluids: Oil, wiper, brake, and antifreeze should all be checked and filled.
• Tires: Check for those bald spots or any bulges that may have occurred. Check with your owner’s manual for the proper tire pressure.
• Battery: Check your battery cables for proper use. Don’t be stuck with a dead battery and no cables for yourself or a neighbor.
• Head and Brake lights: Do a safety check to make sure your lights are not dim or dead.
• Wipers: Have fluids filled and if they need some replacing, invest in quality wipers to keep your sight clear on the roads.

Not sure how to take care of these by yourself? We can help you out. We even have some service coupons for you to use on your visit.

We know that your time is important to you so that's why we offer our Toyota and Scion Express Maintenance. Call or come by today or click here to schedule an appointment online.

Toyota's 100 Cars for Good: There With Care

Larry H Miller Boulder Toyota cares about the families that are going through difficult medical situations. That is why we are proud to work with There With Care to help these families out in any capacity we can.

100 Cars for Good

Having a passion for helping our community, we were honored last Fall to be part of Toyota 100 Cars for Good as voters did their own good deed by voting for their favorite organizations and causes.

"Each day during 50 days, online voters chose two out of five nonprofit organizations to take home a new set of wheels. At the end of the day, the two organizations with the most votes took home a brand-new Toyota."

You can imagine how excited we were to find out There With Care was one of the chosen organizations. They were to receive a Toyota Highlander.

There With Care

"There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of thoughtful and fundamental services to children and families during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies, by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care.

Baby Jack Care Mobile

As we presented the vehicle, the Toyota Highlander, to the organization this week, we were touched by the new name given to the Highlander. In memory of a very special child, There With Care's new Toyota Highlander will be called the "Baby Jack Care Mobile".

In addition to delivering groceries and providing rides to and from hospital treatments, the Baby Jack Care Mobile will help volunteers deliver diapers, car seats and baby items for families who have an infant in the Neo-Natal ICU.  It's a meaningful way to honor Jack's beautiful young life, while being there for other families in crisis.

We want to share more photos from this great ceremony this week. Please visit our Facebook page to see more and be sure to follow There With Care as well to be part of this great organization.
